Ukraine reports ongoing Starlink disruptions

Technology

Ukrainian forces are reporting widespread disruptions to the Starlink satellite network. This contradicts assertions by Donald Trump that Elon Musk had restored full service. These slowdowns occurred after Trump and Musk criticized Ukraine for striking Russian oil refineries. It is the same old story of someone at the top saying a problem is fixed while the people actually using the gear are still staring at a loading screen. In any trade, you do not call a job finished until the person on the site confirms it works. Saying the service is back up does not mean much if the signal is still dropping during a critical operation.
